Staff Sergeant Ronald E. Weeks served with Detachment B-52, Project Delta, 5th Special Forces Group. He gave his life in service to his country while serving with one of the most elite and secretive units of the Vietnam War.

During its six-year history, roughly 600 soldiers served with Project Delta. The unit conducted 55 to 60 separate operations across every corps tactical zone in Vietnam, never numbering more than 100 American soldiers at any one time. The cost was 29 American lives.
