Arno J. Voigt served with Detachment B-52, Project Delta, 5th Special Forces Group. He gave his life in service to his country while serving with one of the most elite and secretive units of the Vietnam War.

Project Delta conducted 55 to 60 separate operations across every corps tactical zone in Vietnam between 1964 and 1970. The unit identified 68 enemy formations, captured vast amounts of equipment and supplies, and identified major enemy installations and supply routes. The cost of these achievements was measured in the lives of 29 Americans, including Voigt, whose names are inscribed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
