Narrative for the following 16 photos:
The first 8 photos of this page were taken on recon in the
northern end of the An Lao valley. The second 8 photos were taken
after exfil to the FOB at Pony LZ. We came into an area that hadn't
been maintained or occupied for weeks, if not, months. It reminded me
of a VN version of the Gabriel Demonstration area at Ft. Bragg. It had
every type of trap and snare imaginable and also a large cave/cavern
which served as a kitchen/hospital/sleeping area. I believe it was a
training facility with actual training aids. |
