SFC Norman Doney supervises SSG James Coalson and SFC Paul "Mickey" Spillane in the installation of an extraction ladder on a Huey at Phu Bai, 1968 (see Samurai IV). Doney scrounged the ladders from CH-47's and equipped 281st ASH helicopters with them to extract recon teams. Doney later did the same at CCC.
